🇨🇦 Montreal Food Guide | What I Ate in 5 Meals Over 2 Days 😋

Right after landing in Montreal, we headed downtown and randomly booked a highly-rated French restaurant near the attractions 🍽️ 🇫🇷 Modavie (≈$60 per person) Appetizers: Foie gras + escargots 🐌 + salad 🥗 Mains: Lamb chops + lamb sandwich 🥪 Everything was great except the sandwich (just okay!). 🇰🇷 Chimaek Gana (≈$35 per person) Spicy chicken feet (with DIY seaweed rice balls 🍙) — my main reason for coming! Perfectly spicy and so satisfying 😋 Seafood hot pot 🍲 — ideal for cold weather! Lots of seafood inside. Better value than army stew, and they refill the soup for free! Fried chicken 🍗 — super juicy! (Sorry, no photo—we were too hungry 😂) 🔺 Very popular—make a reservation! 🥯 La Fabrique de Bagel de Montréal Breakfast had to be bagels! Didn’t have time for the most famous spot, but this well-known branch near our car rental was great. Tried the Smoked Salmon with Avocado 🥑 and Chicken with Avocado. We all agreed the smoked salmon was better! 🥩 Gyubee Japanese Grill As meat lovers, we happily feasted here 🍖💯 The new marinated steak was also delicious. 🍳 Resto-Café Quoi de N’Oeuf (≈$28 per person) Before flying out, we had brunch at Atwater. Wanted to try Sunny’s Dinette, but it was packed with one chef cooking 😅… Went next door to this cozy local spot run by a couple. Even they had a line forming! Portions are HUGE—couldn’t finish. Coffee was served in a bowl ☕️🤪 🛌 We stayed near Guy-Concordia—almost all the restaurants were within a 5-minute walk. Super convenient! #Montreal #MontrealFood #MontrealLife #EatInMontreal #Montresto 🍽️✨
