🇨🇦 Montreal Travel — Food Guide Pt. 2
Continued from last post~ 🍽️✨ 📍 Le Passé Composé My favorite meal of the whole trip! Pan-seared foie gras eggs Benedict + foie gras mousse — so creamy and smooth 😭👌 Also tried their oatmeal cookie bowl with fresh berries, ice cream, jam, and smoothie — the cookie tasted like a cheesecake base. Every element was flavorful and unique! 📍 Pizzéria NO.900 Award-winning pizza 🍕—and surprisingly affordable! Truffle mushroom pizza had a hint of lemon 🌿, Margherita was solid but not mind-blowing. 📍 Régine Café A popular brunch spot — very busy, so book ahead! We ordered beef eggs Benedict and zucchini cake with eggs, cheese sauce, and tomato-olive compote. Swapped the poached eggs for Scotch eggs — both dishes were delicious! Their cinnamon roll was a bit dry — you can skip it. 📍 Two Bagel Spots 🥯 First time trying Montreal-style bagels — slightly sweeter than regular ones! Sesame flavor was super fragrant 👍 Personal preference: I liked La Fabrique De Bagel more. 📍 Ca Lam The only letdown of the trip… ❌ — maybe we ordered wrong? The gelato was icy and watery 🍧, but I saw many people getting soft-serve. Maybe that’s the way to go. To someone from Calgary, Montreal is a true food oasis 🏝️ Almost everything we ate was amazing! I didn’t even know Montreal was known for food before this trip — but the variety and competition here really push quality up. Wishing Calgary would catch up soon… 😂 #Montreal #MontrealFood #CanadaTravel #FoodDiary #FoodieAdventure #EatLikeALocal 🥯🍳✨
