๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Must-Visit Places for Your First Trip to Vancouver!

Having visited Vancouver nearly 20 times, Iโ€™ve put together this ultimate guide for you! ๐Ÿ“’ Not sure how many posts this will turn into โ€” stay tuned on my homepage for more. If itโ€™s your first time in Vancouver, this guide is for you ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ“Œ Stanley Park ๐ŸŒฒ Vancouverโ€™s most famous park โ€” and in my opinion, the most beautiful one in the city! Perfect for an evening stroll with ocean breezes at sunset ๐ŸŒ…, jogging along the water, or biking ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Great natural environment, and itโ€™s totally FREE! ๐Ÿ†“ ๐Ÿ“Œ Gastown ๐Ÿฎ Lots of cool little shops, boutiques, record stores, and cafรฉs around here โ˜•๐ŸŽถ. Donโ€™t miss the famous Steam Clock ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ โ€” it whistles every 15 minutes ๐Ÿ˜‰. At night, it feels like a Harry Potter magical town! Also home to my favorite foie gras rice bowl in Vancouver ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ“ PiDGiN Restaurant. ๐Ÿ“Œ Richmond ๐Ÿฅข If youโ€™re craving authentic Chinese food, Richmond is the place to go! Bubble tea, desserts, BBQ, dim sum, Sichuan, Cantonese, Hunan, Northeastern, Shanghainese, Hangzhou-style, Beijing-style โ€” you name it, they have it ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿข. Plus: raw marinated seafood, skewers, KTV, mahjong, internet cafรฉsโ€ฆ everything youโ€™d find back in China ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ€„. You can also check out the Fishermanโ€™s Wharf ๐Ÿšข. ๐Ÿ“Œ Granville Island ๐ŸŽจ I absolutely LOVE this place! Take a ride on the Aquabus ๐ŸŒŠ โ€” tickets are just a few dollars. You can pay in cash or by card on board (no transit card accepted). My recommended route: after exploring Granville, take the boat directly to Yaletown ๐Ÿšค. Thereโ€™s also a public market with fresh ingredients ๐Ÿฅฆ๐Ÿฆ, including some hard-to-find items. Lots of seafood restaurants and oyster bars โ€” I often grab oysters to enjoy by the water ๐Ÿฆช๐ŸŒŠ. ๐Ÿ“Œ Yaletown ๐Ÿน Similar to Gastown โ€” a great area for wandering around with plenty of dining options. Lots of stylish Western restaurants and cozy wine bars ๐Ÿฅ‚. ๐Ÿ“Œ UBC / SFU ๐Ÿซ UBC is known as one of the most beautiful campuses in Canada ๐ŸŽ“. Right by the ocean, it features peaceful forests and gardens โ€” especially magical during cherry blossom season ๐ŸŒธ. SFU is located on a mountainside ๐Ÿš—โ›ฐ๏ธ. Watching the sunset or the city lights from there is absolutely breathtaking โ€” a totally unique vibe. Highly recommended if you have extra time! #Vancouver #VancouverFood #StudyInVancouver #Canada #ImmigrationCanada
