๐จ๐ฆ Must-Visit Spots for Your First Trip to Vancouver
Having visited Vancouver nearly 20 times, Iโve put together this practical guide for you! ๐ Not sure how many posts this will turn into, so stay tuned for more on my homepage. If itโs your first time in Vancouver, this guide is perfect for you ๐๐ป ๐ Stanley Park The most famous park in Vancouver, and in my opinion, the most beautiful one in the city. Perfect for an evening stroll by the sea at sunset, jogging along the coast, or cycling ๐ดโโ๏ธ. The natural environment is amazing, and itโs completely FREE โ no entrance fee! ๐ณ๐ ๐ Gastown This area is full of awesome little shops, boutiques, record stores, and cafes ๐๏ธโ. Donโt miss the famous steam clock โ it whistles every 15 minutes! ๐๐ At night, it feels like a magical Harry Potter town. And hereโs a foodie tip: my favorite foie gras rice in Vancouver is at ๐PiDGiN Restaurant nearby ๐. ๐ Richmond If youโre craving authentic Chinese food, Richmond is THE place to go! From bubble tea ๐ง, desserts ๐ง, BBQ meat ๐, dim sum ๐ฅ, to Sichuan, Cantonese, Hunan, Northeastern, Shanghainese, and Beijing cuisine โ you name it, they have it! Youโll also find raw marinated seafood, skewers, KTV, arcades, internet cafรฉs, and mahjong parlors โ just like back in China ๐ค๐. While youโre there, take a stroll at Fishermanโs Wharf ๐ข. ๐ Granville Island I absolutely LOVE this place! Take a ride on the ๐ Aquabus โ tickets are just a few dollars, and you can pay in cash or by card on board (no transit card accepted). I recommend taking the boat from Granville Island directly to Yaletown for more fun ๐ค. Thereโs also a public market with fresh ingredients and hard-to-find specialty items. Lots of seafood restaurants and oyster bars too โ I often grab oysters and enjoy them by the water ๐ฆช. ๐ Yaletown Similar to Gastown, itโs a great area to explore with plenty of dining options. Youโll find stylish Western restaurants and cozy cocktail bars here ๐น. ๐ UBC & SFU UBC is known as one of the most beautiful campuses in Canada โ itโs basically a scenic spot itself! The university is right by the ocean ๐, with peaceful forests and gardens inside the campus. If you visit during cherry blossom season, itโs even more stunning ๐ธ๐ซ. SFU is located on a mountain โ youโll need to drive up ๐๐จ. The sunset and night views from here are incredibly beautiful and offer a unique perspective of Vancouver. If you have extra time, definitely check it out! โฐ๏ธ๐ #Vancouver #VancouverGuide #StudyInVancouver #Canada #ImmigrationToCanada๐โจ๐ธ๐ฎ๐๐๏ธ
