Vancouver's Most Instagram-Worthy Donburi! π£β¨ Today was my perfect "me day" - shopping therapy followed by an amazing seafood donburi lunch at Toyokan Bowl! π As a sister restaurant to Kingyo and Suika, this newly opened (October 2023) gem specializes in premium seafood rice bowls with ingredients so fresh they're flown directly from Tokyo's famous Tsukiji Market! βοΈπ―π΅ They currently offer seasonal specials - while their uni (sea urchin) is legendary π, I opted for the stunning Imperial Sea Chest Donburi instead. If you love uni, try one of the three options shown in my sixth photo! πΈ This rainbow-colored masterpiece featured: π Ultra-fresh tuna three ways π Sweet snow crab β€οΈ Plump scallops π Buttery salmon π Juicy prawns π€ Rich unagi π§‘ Fluffy sea urchin ...all atop perfectly vinegared sushi rice!
