Finally, a place that nails authentic Sichuan flavors while serving them in a stunning, traditional-Chinese setting (lotus murals, elegant furniture—chef’s kiss). 🏆 New Dishes That Teleported Us to China ✅ Braised Grouper with Fried Dough : Grouper (a.k.a. premium rockfish) smothered in savory sauce, paired with giant crispy youtiao. Pro move: Dip the dough in the fish sauce—I devoured two pieces and regretted nothing. ✅ Scallop & Corn Stir-Fry : First empty plate award! Sweet corn + plump scallops = a UMAMI BOMB that melts on your tongue. I’m still dreaming about it. ✅ Seafood Vermicelli Clay Pot : Rice’s worst enemy—I inhaled two bowls because the chewy noodles + briny seafood were too good to stop.
