🇨🇦 So Hot Outside, Let's Eat Sushi! 🍣|Tozen

Vancouver has been scorching lately, and all I wanted was some refreshing Japanese food to cool down! 🌞🔥 I've seen this place recommended a lot, so I finally checked it out. There's construction on the street, but they have a parking lot 🅿️ nearby. We were served by a super friendly Korean guy—great vibes! Pan Seared Scallops ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The scallops themselves were delicious, but the seasoning was a tad light. The caviar helped balance it out—perfect for those who prefer milder flavors! Assorted Sashimi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I always get a sashimi platter when I can’t decide what to order! 🐟 The fish was fresh, and the hamachi (yellowtail) was my favorite—buttery and smooth! Hokkaido Bafun Uni Nigiri ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wanted the regular uni, but they were out, so I tried the Hokkaido sea urchin instead. SO worth it—sweet, creamy, and paired perfectly with sushi rice. 🍚💛 Bluefin Nigiri Set ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This set had Negi Bluefin, Akami, Chutoro, and Otoro—we ordered two, so they came on a big platter (other tables got fancy wooden boxes with dry ice… photo op missed 😭). The tuna was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, especially the fatty otoro. 🍣✨ Salmon Oshi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My go-to order at any sushi spot! Tozen’s version was flavor-packed and satisfying—no complaints here! Final Thoughts: Solid sushi spot—nothing blew my mind, but everything was tasty with no regrets! If you know any next-level sushi places, drop your recs below! 🙇🏻‍♀️💖 Name: Tozen Sushi Bar Location: 967 W Broadway, Vancouver #Vancouver #VancouverEats #SushiLover #FoodieAdventure #JapaneseCuisine #SushiTime #FoodGram #RestaurantRecs #JapaneseFood #VancouverLife
