🇨🇦 Super Detailed Halifax Travel Guide ✈️🌊

Day 1 A 4-day, 3-night car-free trip for the organized traveler 💼 ✅ Airport Transportation Tip Right outside the airport, you’ll find the 320 bus 🚌. Download the HFXGO App—scan your ticket and ride directly to downtown. You can also use this app for the ferry ⛴️. Super convenient! Downtown Halifax is totally walkable 🚶‍♀️🚶 This city is perfect for strolling! You can walk to all the attractions—I explored the entire downtown on foot. 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: The Lord Nelson The location is fantastic, right next to the Public Gardens and within walking distance to the city center. The hotel itself is a historic building, preserving old-style mailboxes and decorations. Lunch | The Bicycle Thief 🍝 A famous spot! I’ve included it in my separate 【Halifax Food Guide】. ✅ Citadel Hill Fortress ✅ Waterfront A frequently visited area with many well-known restaurants and colorful Muskoka chairs. Evening: Take the ferry to Dartmouth ⛴️ 💕 Enjoy Japanese cuisine at Doraku in downtown Dartmouth 💕 Visit Fisherman’s Cove to see the colorful houses Day 2 Booked a day tour on Tripadvisor (highly recommended! 🚐) The itinerary includes: Peggy’s Cove Swissair 111 Memorial Lunenburg Bay of Fundy Local Winery ‼️ In the evening, check out Halifax Casino for some fun 🎰 Day 3 — Leisurely City Walk & Local Art Exploration ❌ Seaport Farmer’s Market Not worth it—just a few small stalls with underwhelming food. Finished in 2 minutes. ✅ Jennifer’s of Nova Scotia A cute souvenir shop on the main street 🛍️ ✅ Dalhousie University Passed by casually—the campus is spread out, but the Architecture Building is worth a photo! 📸 ✅ Art Gallery of Nova Scotia Can be explored in an hour. A small gallery featuring works by beloved local artist Maud Lewis 🎨 ✅ Jones the Cat A 5-star internet-famous stray cat 🐱—but you’ll need luck to spot him! Day 4 Sir Sandford Fleming Park Stumbled upon this place on a postcard and decided to go—did not disappoint! 🏞️ Home to the Dingle Tower Follow the azure coastline, with seagulls and docked boats 🚢 Several hiking trails available here #Halifax #HalifaxTravel #HalifaxGuide #NovaScotia #TravelCanada #SeasideTown #WalkableCity #ArtLovers #HiddenGems 🌊🍁✨
