🇨🇦 The Infamously Hard-to-Book Michelin ⭐ AnnaLena

Let me share some overdue but still gorgeous food pics 🥂 Their tasting menu includes eight courses (with dessert). Reviews about this place are super mixed—people either love it or hate it. A few days later, the dish that still stands out in my memory is the first course: the cheeseburger 🧀. The bun was perfectly toasted, buttery, and paired with a rich cheese sauce and wagyu tartare—definitely a strong start! The charcoal-grilled pork salad was another highlight 🤤. It had this sweet, almost honey-glazed pork jerky vibe, balanced with a refreshing cucumber, grape, and yogurt salad. So good and not too heavy! The squid ink pasta (main course) was just okay—nothing special. Maybe it’s because almost every dish had some form of cheese or cream, making the meal feel heavier as we went along. The duck breast came with a flatbread, giving it a creative Peking duck twist. But honestly, the bread was over-charred and tasted burnt—not a fan. And the biggest letdown? The goat cheese dessert 🤮. How did they manage to make a dessert taste so strongly of goat? If you’re not into that funky flavor, skip it! Overall, the portions were generous—three of us left stuffed. The dishes were hit or miss depending on personal taste, but the vibe is perfect for a date night. What do you think? Would you brave the goat cheese dessert? Or are you here just for that cheeseburger?
