🇨🇦 The Most Honest Whistler Restaurant Reviews You’ll Find Online 🤨

No fluff, no filter — just real experiences! 1️⃣ Wild Blue ⭐⭐⭐ French restaurant — booked a day ahead, only got 8:30 PM. Hype was high! But honestly… it was just okay. Go for the $39 prix-fixe menu in off-season. We tried popular à la carte items too — pretty average. Sablefish was too salty 🐟, lingcod was bland. Tables are way too close together for a "fine dining" vibe. Good service though — they gave us champagne for our anniversary! 🥂 ~$300 for two → low value. 2️⃣ Mongolie Grill ⭐ Fun fact: Mongolian BBQ isn’t from Mongolia — it’s from Taiwan. If you’re brave or love DIY… maybe skip this. You pick ingredients, they cook it. Very Westernized flavors. Free rice 🍚, super friendly staff, but the food… not good. $80 for two → not worth it. 3️⃣ Il Caminetto ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Italian 🇮🇹 $43 for 4 courses — great deal! Bread and cheese were delicious. Lobster & saffron linguine was rich 🦞, portion was huge. Service was warm. ~$170 for two → will return! 4️⃣ Bearfoot Ice Room Vodka ⭐⭐⭐⭐ -30°C ice room ❄️, 4 vodka tastings. Small but fun — tour takes 15-20 mins. Guide was sweet and took photos. Loved the Van Gogh vodka — tasted like espresso! ☕ 5️⃣ Chubby Duck ⭐⭐⭐ Solid choice! Lots of cheese and meat 🧀🥩 They torch it at the end — eat it hot! 6️⃣ Ohyama Ramen ⭐⭐ Basic ramen 🍜. Good if you’re hungry, but not a must-try. 7️⃣ % Arabica ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rich and smooth — tried affogato and latte. Highly recommended! ☕ #WhistlerEats #HonestReviews #WhistlerFood #FoodCritic #DineInWhistler #NoFilter #EatLocal 🍽️❌✅
