🇨🇦 This is in Toronto! Not Europe! 🌍✨

Turning from bustling King Street onto Colborne St felt like stepping into another world — as if I’d been teleported to Old Montreal or a quiet slope in Quebec City. Nothing like Toronto… and it thrilled me! I headed straight for this striking yellow-and-blue building, known as Toronto’s top Irish restaurant: 📍P.J. O’Brien Irish Pub & Restaurant 39 Colborne St, Toronto Despite the quiet street, opening the door was a shock — the place was buzzing! Packed with well-dressed middle-aged regulars. So this is the hidden gem adults love 😄 (They even have live shows every night! 🎤) Every corner feels historic — vintage yet clean. I loved it instantly. The drink menu features 5 Irish beers on tap. Guinness, of course, takes top pride. So smooth… the foam is dense like milk foam, and the stout, though bitter, finishes rich and malty. But the food here… unexpectedly fantastic! So many classic Irish dishes you can’t find anywhere else: 🌟 Liver and Onions 🌟 Lamb Shank (braised in Guinness) 🌟 Sausage and Chips — Irish-style sausage 🌟 Bangers and Mash — grilled pork sausages with beer-braised onions and veggies Plus plenty of generous meat plates, burgers, steaks… I ordered the Lamb Shank, slow-cooked bone-in pork ribs ($25), fried chicken wings, and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious! 👍🏻 The lamb was fall-apart tender with connective richness — so flavorful. The mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery. And the ribs? Melts-off-the-bone — huge portion for $25. Great value! So many dishes I still want to try: Bison burger, steak sandwich, Guinness beef stew, 10oz AAA Alberta steak for just $36… I’ve decided to have my birthday dinner here this year! #TorontoFood #HiddenGem #Toronto
