🇨🇦 Titanic Shipwreck Artifacts at Halifax Maritime Museum
During my visit to Halifax, I learned that the Titanic’s wreckage was brought here for recovery, and many victims were laid to rest in this city. To explore this history, I visited the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. On the second floor, a dedicated exhibition space showcases artifacts recovered from the Titanic. Each item, preserved behind glass, still reflects the luxury of its time—despite years of immersion in seawater and erosion. 💵 Ticket Prices from 1912: First-class family ticket: $1,197 First-class single ticket: $138 Second-class family ticket: $119 Second-class single ticket: $63 Even by today’s standards, these were expensive! 📜 The handwritten notes left by recovery teams reveal the tragic and terrifying scale of the disaster. The power of nature is beyond human control. May such tragedies never repeat, and may the victims rest in peace. 🙏 #MuseumArt #MuseumLovers #PowerOfMuseums #Titanic #Halifax #History #TravelCanada 🕊️🌊
