🇨🇦 Toronto's Must-Try Restaurants 🍴

A curated list of unique and delicious spots in the city! YAMATO A fun teppanyaki experience with lively vibes! 👨🍳🔥 The chefs put on a show while cooking—great for social diners. Recommended: fried rice and uni (sea urchin). The steak was just okay, but the atmosphere makes it worth it! Street Grill A fail-safe Northeastern Chinese spot! 😍 Their guobaorou (sweet & sour pork) is a dream. Also loved: crispy chicken cartilage, lamb skewers, cold noodles, and dough drop soup. Everything slaps! Dragon Legend The ultimate Asian buffet 🦪🍣! I went on Friday for the oyster special. Also features Peking duck, sushi, and endless Asian dishes + desserts. All for ~$50! Crazy good value. :Tanuki Restaurant Located in J-Town—their 12-hour braised pork rice bowl is LEGENDARY 🐷🍚! Topped with fried garlic and special sauce—zero greasiness. Omurice is good too, but that pork rice… go now! Nian Yi Kuai Zi (Markham location) 🔥🌶️ For those who love Sichuan spice! Friends say the Markham branch is even spicier than RH. Must-tries: pickled pepper beef, tripe dip, crispy pork with pea shoots, fish filets, and spicy chicken hotpot. Meataa 7 Authentic Charcoal BBQ As someone from Shenyang—this charcoal BBQ tastes like home 😭🍖! Also try: old-school mixed rice, marinated veggies, classic mala tang. Everything’s delicious. Da Ya Li (Richmond Hill branch!) My go-to for group dinners! Affordable, crowd-pleasing, and private rooms available. Almost everything on the menu is good. Faves: kung pao shrimp, Peking duck, “Wu Dalang” pie, dapanji, and rice cakes. Pro tip: get a membership card for discounts! 10+ people ate for just $300+! Chiang Rai Thai Kitchen and Bar A hidden gem for affordable Thai 🍍💚! Under $30 per person. Recommended: pineapple fried rice, green curry, mango salad, tom yum. Light, fresh, perfect after heavy meals. Loon Fong Hotpot Cantonese hotpot worth the wait! 🍲⏳ Their fish maw chicken soup base is a must—super fresh chicken, and you can pour the broth over rice. Always busy, always good. #TorontoEats #TorontoFoodie #HiddenGems #FoodGuide #AsianCuisine
