🇨🇦 Toronto Essence 2-Day Itinerary | Downtown + Falls 🌊
On my way to New York, I made a stop in Toronto. With limited time, I selected only the most essential spots. Here’s the ultimate 2-day guide: DAY 1⃣️ Downtown Exploration 🛍️ Shopping at Yorkdale Yorkdale is the ultimate one-stop shopping destination. You can buy Arc’teryx, Lululemon, and Alo here. Arc’teryx is at least four digits cheaper than in China! Other luxury brands are also available. 🅿️ Parking: Free parking lots around the mall. ☕️ Strolling Along Ossington Street Known as Toronto’s most stylish street—think Anfu Road in Shanghai! Popular spots include Rooms Coffee and Bang Bang Ice Cream. Their waffle ice creams are a must-try! Recommended flavors: London Fog (Earl Grey) and Mocha Tiramisu. 🅿️ Parking: Street parking, easy to find spots. ⛲️ Lakeside Park with a View of the CN Tower Locals recommend Trillium Park for a stunning view of Lake Ontario and the CN Tower. It’s a spacious waterfront park with breathtaking scenery. DAY 2⃣️ Niagara Falls Day Trip 🚗 Route: Niagara-on-the-Lake → Niagara Falls → Oakville Downtown 1⃣️ Niagara-on-the-Lake 🚗 1.5h A charming town with strong British colonial heritage. Queen Street in downtown is lined with unique shops—perfect for a leisurely stroll. If the weather’s nice, enjoy a meal or coffee at Shaw Cafe & Wine Bar, which offers the best view on the street. 2⃣️ Niagara Falls 🚗 1h Park at Skylon Tower for $10 and walk about 10 minutes to the falls. You can enjoy a stroll along the falls and take photos. While boat tours are available, the view from the shore is already spectacular and up-close! 3⃣️ Oakville Downtown 🚗 1h On the way back, stop by this town known as the second-wealthiest in Canada. Park at Lakeside Park and walk to the lakeside park, then head to downtown. The town is very small—it takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the lake to downtown. Don’t miss the famous Greek ice cream! 🍽️ Amazing Chinese Restaurants: Ju Xian Lou): A favorite of JJ Lin! Must-tries include the pork belly chicken hot pot, seafood, and stir-fried dishes. (Fan Fan Dian): An affordable Cantonese eatery with authentic wok hei (breath of the wok)! Everything on the menu is delicious. (Nian Yi Kuai Zi): A bold and flavorful Sichuan-style tavern. Adjustable spice levels—I think it’s even better than Half Step Down! These restaurants are quite popular, so plan your visit accordingly or order via Uber Eats for pickup. #TorontoTravel #NiagaraFalls 🇨🇦✨
