🇨🇦 Toronto One-Day City Walk Route 🚶♀️📸
This route covers 7-8 famous Toronto spots—perfect for those short on time but eager to see a lot! Start and end at Union Station. For true "special forces" travelers, you can even add a trip to the Toronto Islands! 🏝️ 🚉 Union Station We began here since we arrived by train. The station itself is architecturally striking—worth a quick look inside! 🏛️ 🏛️ Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) Took the subway from Union to Museum Station (yes, it’s that convenient!). The first floor is currently free and features China-related exhibits + live performances! 🐉🎭 🎓 University of Toronto Walked from ROM along the Philosopher’s Walk → passed Trinity College, Soldiers’ Tower, and other historic buildings. Stopped at the bookstore for souvenirs! 📚🦉 🌳 Queen’s Park Right next to U of T—a green oasis with plenty of benches. Perfect for a short rest! 🍃 🍜 Chinatown ~10 min walk from the park. Lots of food options, but stay alert—we encountered an aggressive racist shouting on the street. Be cautious! 🥢🚦 🛍️ Eaton Centre Entered downtown’s iconic mall—great shopping with decent prices. Retail therapy, anyone? 💳👗 🏢 City Hall Exited Eaton near New City Hall and the famous TORONTO sign. Great photo spot! Sometimes there are food festivals or markets (a bit pricey though). 📸✨ 🏛️ Gooderham Building Walked to this historic flatiron beauty—Toronto’s version of Shanghai’s Wukang Building! Lots of cafes and photo ops nearby. 📸☕ 🦞 St. Lawrence Market Just a few mins from the Gooderham. Tried the famous lobster roll 🥪 and browsed Canadian souvenirs. ⚠️ Closes at 5 PM on weekends, 7 PM on weekdays! 🔁 Returned to Union Station on foot—passed a popular CN Tower photo spot along the way. Total walking time: ~6 hours (with breaks & meals) Step count: ~25,000 👣 Not too tiring since you’re eating, shopping, and sightseeing along the way! 🌅 If you have energy left, highly recommend a bonus trip to the Toronto Islands for sunset and skyline views. Ferry tickets are affordable! 🚢 #UrbanPhotography #Travel #CityExploration #Toronto #Canada #CityWalk #WeekendGetaway #TorontoFood #ExploreToronto 🏙️🍁
