🇨🇦 Vancouver Day-Trip Idea | Abbotsford in One Day Saturday, we left Richmond at 11 a.m. and hit the road—just over an hour later we were in Abbotsford, ready for adventure! 🚗 🎢 Castle Fun Park Arrived around 11:30, and the fun started right away! First, we grabbed a quick bite at the adjacent food court—options like McDonald’s, A&W, Booster Juice, and Subway made it easy to fuel up 🍔. Inside the park, we bought a rechargeable card for all the activities: • First top-up: CAD 25 • Second top-up: CAD 20 (machines let you add any amount, super convenient!). Activities we tried (and loved!): • Outdoor go-karts – CAD 12 per ride. Pro tip: bring your own balaclava/helmet or borrow theirs; staff just swipes the card. These were *so* fast and thrilling—we screamed (happily) the whole time! 🏎️💨 • Splash electric game – CAD 2 each. Cute and competitive, perfect for a quick laugh 😆. We left around 2:30 p.m., already planning which rides to hit next time! 🐄 Birchwood Dairy Farm Just a five-minute drive from the park—talk about a seamless transition from excitement to charm! • Ice-cream stop: single-scoop matcha was CAD 6+, double-scoop CAD 7+, and the portions were *generous*. So many guests were buying tubs to take home—we totally get why 🍦✨. • Animals: friendly cows, a few shy sheep, and even some curious calves. They do milking demos daily from 3:30–5 p.m.—so cool! The kids happily hung out in the barn (yes, it smells like cows, but they didn’t care one bit—they were too busy petting the animals 🐑❤️). 🍣 Dinner on the way home We pulled over at Sushi Crave in Richmond, and wow—their Spicy Combo is massive and insanely satisfying.
