🇨🇦 Vancouver Summer Guide
This post was inspired by a team meeting where we all shared our favorite things to do in Vancouver. Thanks to my coworkers’ recommendations, I tried some new activities and revisited some classics this summer. Here are some of the best summer experiences my friends and I enjoyed in Vancouver! 🌞🌿 📍 False Creek Perfect for walks or taking the Aquabus/False Creek Ferries 🚤. One side is the creek, the other is lush green space in the city’s prime area. Skyline views + blue skies ☁️✨, and you can walk all the way to Sunset Beach. It’ll make you grateful to live here! 📍 Kitsilano Beach 🌅 Ideal for dates and sunset watching! Plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops 🍦, and cafés nearby. Great vibes all around 💑. 📍 Squamish Hike to Shannon Falls (Milk Waterfalls) 🏞️ and grab ice cream at Alice and Brohm 🍧 — ”Skip the falls if you must, but don’t miss the ice cream!” 📍 North Van Lonsdale Stroll around, ride the Seabus ⛴️, and enjoy skyline views of Vancouver. Lots of great cafés ☕, Earnest Ice Cream, plus delicious Korean and Iranian restaurants 🍚. 📍 Deep Cove Kayak 🛶 or hike Quarry Rock 🥾. Was dying to try Scratch Kitchen — but it only opens for dinner 😢. 📍 West Van Visit Lighthouse Park (amazing views from Juniper Point 🌲) and Ambleside Beach 🏖️ (separate areas for people and dogs 🐶). Lots of good eats nearby! 📍 English Bay Beach Best spot for watching fireworks 🎆 (though Kits can be good too). Gets crowded — arrive early to snag a seat! 📍 White Rock Walk by the sea, watch trains 🚂, enjoy mountain views 🏔️. Grab bubble tea at Mr. Chu 🧋 and sushi at Taka’s 🍣. Friends call it “Vancouver’s Little Kamakura”! 📍 Deer Lake Park Go boating 🚣, take a walk, or enjoy the annual outdoor symphony performance 🎻 — magical atmosphere! 📍 Rocky Point Park Great for picnics 🧺. Nearby breweries 🍺 and famous pizza at Pizzeria Spacca Napoli 🍕. Easy to spend a whole afternoon here! 📍 Pitt Marsh Perfect for an after-dinner walk 🌄. #VancouverSummer #ExploreBC #TravelGuide #ThingsToDoInVan #SeaToSky #BeachVibes
