🚢 Ferry Adventure 9:00 AM sailing – Parked at Tsawwassen’s long-term lot ($25/day). Pro tip: Arrive early—spots fill fast! Food on board: Lines are crazy long (waited 1 hour!). The popular picks were just okay—hot chocolate was way too sweet. ☕🤨 (Menu/prices in pics). 🌸 Butchart Gardens Bus from Swartz Bay (don’t queue for downtown buses—look for the less crowded stop!). DayPass: $6 (exact cash only, no change!). Garden entry: $39.50/adult. Gorgeous but small—done in 1-2 hours. Photo ops everywhere! 📸 Ice cream on the way out—flavors/prices in pics. 🍦 🚍 Downtown Victoria Bus (~50 mins) to downtown. Food stops: 🥐 Crust Bakery: Sold out of the famed lychee pastry 😭—other treats were meh. 🦪 Shuck Taylor’s: Amazing oysters & lobster roll! So fresh! 🚶 City Walk Highlights Parliament Building: Bagpipers in kilts + horse carriages! 🏴 Pink-flower-lined streets (🌸 magical!). Fisherman’s Wharf: Cute floating houses & stalls. ⚠️ Transport Mishap! Bus to ferry broke down! Had to taxi ($60 extra 💸). Almost missed the 7:00 PM ferry!
