🇨🇦 Victoria | Red Fish Blue Fish

A Solid 6.5/10 Seafood Spot in Victoria: Worth Bringing Friends! We tried three dishes here: clam chowder, BC Halibut fish and chips, and Tempura Cod Tacone. Overall, we’d give it a 6.5/10—it’s good enough to bring friends along for a casual meal 😊. The clam chowder was unexpected! It tasted like a runny version of Thai red curry mixed with corn—weirdly delicious. We found two big crab legs and some fish paste in it, and the tangy broth was super appetizing. Definitely perked up our taste buds 🥣. The coleslaw was a nice twist too. Unlike regular coleslaw doused in mayo, this one tasted like it was only dressed with lemon juice and salt. That zesty, acidic kick paired perfectly with the fried fish and chips—cut through the greasiness just right 🥗. The Tempura Cod Tacone was a winner: a warm taco shell stuffed with crispy tempura cod, that same coleslaw, and two little herbs with a floral hint. The herbs were a new flavor for us, but they worked! All in all, it was tasty enough to make the 30-minute wait worth it 🌮. The total for two people was $48—not bad for the portions and quality. 📍 1006 Wharf St, Victoria, BC #VancouverIsland #VictoriaTravel #SeafoodSpot #VictoriaEats
