🇨🇦 Victoria Food Review No.1 — Floyd's Diner
Let’s start with a brunch spot in Victoria that has really unique decor! They have three locations on the island—we went to the one in Langford, which seems to be the original based on the number of Google reviews 📍 The restaurant is decorated with lots of classic movie posters 🎬📰, bringing back so many memories~ First, we tried the highly recommended The Herb Hudson Chicken Waffle Bunny ($23.95) Two waffles at the bottom, with chopped bacon and fried chicken in between, topped with a poached egg and cranberry sauce. The fried chicken was breast meat—a bit too dry for me 🍗, and the coating wasn’t very crispy. Also, it was kinda salty 😅 Their signature fried potato slices were also dry and not crispy… maybe reheated? Next, we ordered the Lumberjack ($21.95) Two slices of bacon, two sausages, two pancakes, two fried eggs 🍳, and of course, their signature fried potato slices. The sausages were pretty good 👍, and the pancakes were fluffy! Overall, the taste was just okay—nothing special. The portions here are HUGE though! 🍽️ We couldn’t finish everything… Maybe we didn’t order the right things, or maybe this branch isn’t as good as the others. Either way, the food wasn’t outstanding. Not highly recommended from me 👎 Price after tax: around $30 per person 💸 Floyd's Diner 721 Station Ave, Victoria, BC V9B 5R5 #VictoriaBC #Canada #FoodReview #Brunch #VancouverLife
