🇨🇦 Victoria Food Review No.11 – Korean Fried Chicken

A restaurant recommended by both Korean and Filipino friends… but it was a letdown for me 😔💥 🍗 Korean Fried Chicken We ordered plain fried chicken (because of the baby) and two sauces on the side: Classic spicy gochujang: just okay, nothing special. Garlic soy: barely any garlic taste… just slightly sweet soy sauce 👎. The pickled radish was refreshing and tasty, though! Overall, not as good as other Korean fried chicken spots in town. 🍖 Pork Bone Soup (Gamjatang) Pretty standard—tasted just like homemade, nothing special. We wanted to order black bean noodles (Jajangmyeon), but couldn’t find it on the menu. When we asked, the server said: “We don’t have noodles with black bean sauce. We are not a Chinese-style Korean restaurant.” Awkward and disappointing… 🫤 ⚠️ The biggest issue was the cleanliness—we didn’t feel well after eating here.
