π¨π¦ Victoria Food Review No.6 β Refined & Affordable Japanese Bistro
A Japanese restaurant weβve been to twice and will definitely return to! π€ First visit was during Happy Hour: β OSHI SAMPLER Rating: ππππβ¨ Includes three types of salmon, shrimp, eggplant, and two pieces of sushiβperfect for trying a variety with a small group! Each piece was delicious ππ€. β TAKO WASABI Rating: πππππ Wasabi octopusβa must-try for wasabi lovers! ππ₯ So refreshing and packed with punch. The octopus was fresh and served with nori. Highly recommend! β Salmon Roll Not highly recommendedβpretty standard π£. β Ebi Fritters (3 pcs) Rating: πππβ¨ Crispy fried shrimp tailsβlarge and fresh with a nice bounce. A bit overpriced for what you get, though π€πΈ. β Dynamite Roll Rating: ππππβ¨ Highly recommend! Inside: tempura shrimp, crab stick, avocado π₯, topped with special eel sauce. So flavorful! Second visit was at lunchβtheyβve upgraded their menu! β Pork Tenderloin OJU Box Rating: ππππβ¨ Such a beautiful set! π¦ Includes miso soup, tempura, sashimi, nigiri, oshi, California roll, pork tenderloin, and salad. Super satisfying and great variety! β Spicy Roll Combo Rating: πππβ¨ A huge plate with three spicy rolls, miso soup, salad, California roll, fried gyoza, tempura, meatballs, and fruit ππ. Although cheaper than the box, the tempura shrimp isnβt the same quality, and thereβs no sashimi. Personally prefer the box! π Final thoughts: Highly recommend this place! Weβll be back to try their dinner menu too π±β¨ Overall Rating: πππππ Yua Bistro 622 Fisgard St, Victoria, BC V8W 1R6 #VancouverBC #Canada #VictoriaBC #JapaneseFood #SushiLover #FoodReview #VictoriaEats #VanIsleEats
