🇨🇦 Whistler Food Explore
Just visited Whistler again recently, and our first dinner was at 【Wild Blue】✨ – opened in 2022 and already named one of Canada’s Top 100 Restaurants! The entrance might be modest, but step inside and you’ll be wowed. The interior is absolutely stunning, with beautiful circular design elements and a colorful, inviting bar. 🍷🌿 The food is just as impressive. We went on a night they offered a tasting menu – 4 courses for just $39 per person. Amazing value! Here’s what we tried 👇🏻 🥣 Spring Sweet Pea Soup A green take on lobster bisque made with pea pods – flavorful and a safe yet tasty choice. 🐟 Albacore Tataki (+$9) A slight hint of fishiness, but the seasoning was delicious. 🍝 Orecchiette This pasta dish with clams looked like black fungus at first (it’s made with squid ink!), but it was incredibly tasty. Highly recommend! 🐟 Ling Cod One of the mains – tender fish stuffed with filling, served over a sweet and savory potato purée. Unique and satisfying. 🍖 Lamb Navarin Soft, fragrant, and perfectly cooked – a must-try for lamb lovers. 🍓 Rhubarb A light strawberry mousse cheesecake with beautiful plating, including a trendy butterfly accent. 🦋 🍨 Stick Toffee A bit sweet on its own, but paired with ice cream it’s a fun and delicious dessert. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth. We also ordered extra bread and oysters (just to be safe 😂), and four cocktails – all great! Especially loved the 【Match】cocktail – so good I wanted another round! There are many great restaurants in Whistler, but Wild Blue stands out for its atmosphere and design. Perfect for dates or small gatherings. 💫 🏠: Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar 📍: Across from the Aava Hotel, 4005 Whistler Way, Whistler #VancouverFoodie #WhistlerEats #WhistlerFood #WhistlerRestaurants #WhistlerTravel #VancouverLife #ExploreBC #SeafoodLover #FineDining #FoodAndAmbience 🥂🍴
