【SIDECUT Steakhouse】is hands down the BEST dining experience I’ve had in Whistler! Located inside the Four Seasons Hotel (which, by the way, is also the best hotel stay ever 🏨), SIDECUT is truly the pinnacle of steak in Whistler. The atmosphere is perfect for dates or celebrating special occasions. 💫 The service here is unreal—even better than any fine dining spot in Vancouver! The manager noticed me looking for the restroom and not only gave directions but personally walked me all the way there. That alone won me over. ❤️ Here’s what we ordered 👇🏻 🦪 Steamed Pacific Mussels Cooked in white wine—rich, aromatic, and super fresh. Perfect with the bread for dipping! 🐟 Wild Salmon & Tuna Sashimi Yes, a steakhouse that does sashimi right—thick cuts, super fresh. Not your average starter! 🥩 New York Striploin You can choose your rub—classic black pepper or something spicier. Went with medium-rare and it was perfect. 🥩 Ribeye Also ordered medium-rare, but this one came out a bit overcooked. We told the manager, and not only did they redo my boyfriend’s steak—they offered to redo mine too (even though it was fine!). Now THAT’S service. 🍟 Sides: Duck Fat Potatoes & Salted Broccolini Both were incredible. They even sent us two extra sides on the house to apologize and packed everything to go! 🍰 New York Style Cheesecake Complimentary from the manager (even though we were stuffed!). Topped with green apple strands—light and not too sweet. 🍹 Volcan De Fuego A rum old fashioned served in a smoky dry ice box—super theatrical! 🍸 Golden Bridge Sour Vodka-based, sweet and sour—very Insta-worthy and perfect for those who prefer lighter drinks. If I could only recommend one restaurant in Whistler—it’s SIDECUT, no question.
