🇨🇦Around TorontoA Perfect 2-Day Trip to Tobermory’s “Jellywater Lake
Only about a 4-hour drive from Toronto—ideal for a weekend getaway! If you just want to see The Grotto (without a boat tour), a day trip is totally doable. Day 1 Set off from downtown Toronto 🏙️ Lunch in Owen Sound at a casual Chinese restaurant—simple but satisfying! 🥢 🏞️ The Grotto: Start from the Cyprus Lake parking lot and hike the Bruce Trail for ~30 mins. The turquoise, crystal-clear water is absolutely breathtaking! 😍 🪨 Boulder Beach: Follow the Bruce Trail along the coast from The Grotto. The rocky shoreline and unreal blue water make it a perfect spot to relax all day. 🌃 Stayed at an Airbnb near Tobermory Harbourfront—super walkable and charming! 🍽️ Dinner at Shipwreck Lee’s: Their fried whitefish is a must-try! Delicious! 👍 Day 2 ☀️ Went back to The Grotto under gorgeous weather (you could also take a boat to Flowerpot Island—skipped it this time since I’ve been 3 times already 😆). The water was even more stunning! 🌳 Treetop Trekking: On the way back, stopped at Horseshoe Valley in Barrie for ziplining and aerial adventures—so much fun and adrenaline! 🧗♀️ Visiting Tobermory in the spring = fewer crowds, beautiful scenery, and a much more relaxed vibe compared to summer! 🌸 Every stop felt like a hidden gem, and the whole trip was perfectly paced for a chill, rejuvenating escape. #TravelGuide #HiddenGems #Toronto #Tobermory #WeekendGetaway #ExploreCanada #NatureLovers #OffTheBeatenPath
