Let’s finally cross this one off the list! 💃 ​​The Story Behind​​ - La Plume is nestled in ​​The WELL​​, backed by the renowned hospitality group ​​Oliver & Bonacini (O&B)​​—the powerhouse behind Toronto’s iconic restaurants like ​​Auberge du Pommier​​ and ​​Canoe​​. 🌟 The name "La Plume" (meaning "the feather") embodies lightness, elegance, and the refined artistry of French gastronomy. 🪶 Their mission? To deliver an authentic French dining experience. Leading the kitchen is ​​Chef Jacques Laurent​​, a veteran of Parisian Michelin-starred restaurants, bringing true Gallic flair to Toronto. 🇫🇷👨‍🍳 ​​Vibe Check​​ - Designed by ​​Solid Design Creative​​, La Plume masterfully blends classic French countryside charm with modern sophistication. 🏡✨ We lucked out with a booth in the right wing, where watercolor floral murals, arched plaster details, and whimsical blossom-shaped lamps create a dreamy atmosphere. ☁️🌷 The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with golden afternoon light, while warm wood accents and soft lighting make you feel instantly at ease. 🌞🍃 As evening falls, spring breezes drift through the arches, making the flower lights sway gently—pure romance! 💖🌬️ ​​The Feast​​ - ​​Prix Fixe Menu​​ ✨ 2-course (55)∣3−course(69) Highly recommend the set menu—insane value! 💯 ​​Starters​​ 🧅 French Onion Soup (19) 🍤 Tempura Shrimp, Calamari & Zucchini (22) 🦢 Foie Gras Crêpe Suzette (36)🧀Burrata(19) 🐌 Escargot & Mushroom Toast ($28) ​​Mains​​ 🥩 10oz New York Striploin (58)(+10 for upgrades) 🍗 Giannone Chicken (36) 🍝 Spinach & Ricotta Agnolotti (36) 🌿 ​​The Jungle Breeze​​ (14)🍾∗∗HugoSpritz∗∗(20) ​​Final Notes​​ - Got home and did some digging—turns out there’s a ​​hidden speakeasy on the second floor called Bonne Nuit!​​ 🕵️‍♂️ The entrance? Behind the leftmost restroom stall upstairs. Step through, and you’re transported into a boudoir-style cocktail haven. Next time, we’re definitely checking it out! 🍸💫 #Toronto
