🇨🇭 Bern City Walk Guide | Day 3 & 4
🚆 Transportation Train: Direct from Interlaken Ost → Bern (easy & scenic!). 🏙️ How to Explore? After charming Swiss villages, Bern offers urban vibes with small-town coziness. As Switzerland’s capital, it’s compact but packed—perfect for a 1-day CityWalk! Pro Tip: Stay near the train station for convenience. 📍 Highlights 1️⃣ Gurten Hill 🚠 Funicular: Round-trip 11 CHF (even with Bern Pass). Hike up for free (30-40min). Summit Perks: Panoramic city + Alps views 🏔️ Mountain slide (my mission! 🛷) & mini amusement park 🎡 Skip if short on time—it’s a local park. 2️⃣ Rosengarten 🌹 October Visit? Few blooms, but still a chill sunset spot (no need to rush for seats). Einstein Statue for quick pics. 3️⃣ Bear Pit (BärenPark) 🐻 Free & quirky—Bern’s mascot spot! We missed the bears—they "clocked out" early! 😅 4️⃣ Cheese Fondue at Kloetzlikeller 🧀 Stinky feet aroma (aka melted cheese), but a must-try Swiss experience. Fair warning: "White people food" struggles are real. Day 4: Quick CityWalk Federal Palace 🏛️ + Bern Cathedral ⛪ (no deep dive—just vibes). Final Verdict: Bern is lovely but low-key after days of alpine wonders. 🚂 Departure Back to Milan, ending our Swiss adventure! #Switzerland #Bern #CityWalk #TravelDiaries
