🇨🇭 Musée Ariana
Overall, it's quite good. Some exhibits are really unique. There's a gallery dedicated to the rise of "white glaze with blue flowers" from China (on the first floor). Many pieces are from Jingdezhen, and there are also some Italian dinnerware porcelains with very distinct styles. Although I saw a couple of Qing Dynasty porcelains with a "dopamine style," they are far fewer than those in the Baur Far Eastern Museum in Geneva. 😊 On the second floor, there are four rooms, but two are under renovation and not open. Of the remaining two, one features specific themes, like "The Mountain of the Mind"??? etc. However, it's still quite interesting. There's an exhibit where you can see different images from different angles. 😃 The basement is for temporary exhibitions. The theme is "Stained Glass," ranging from the Middle Ages to modern times. 🌟 Today happens to be the first Sunday of December, and the museum is free to enter. There are also some workshops. One workshop had children expressing emotions through dance. It started with a very ethereal song, "Emptiness" by United Pursuit, played on a big sound system, which was a bit overwhelming at first. But there were also other positive emotions later on. I particularly liked the scene where two children ran around the stage holding a gauze fabric, creating a very soothing effect. 😌 There are also workshops where you can walk around the museum blindfolded, like a blind person, and touch some of the porcelain pieces. During this time, some rooms will be temporarily closed. This is the second workshop series, and I guess there will be new ones on the first Sunday of every month. 🗓️ Overall, if you have the time, it's worth a visit. I'd give it three out of five stars. ⭐⭐⭐ #Switzerland
