Geneva Achieves Eel Rice Freedom 🍣

I've always loved eel rice and eel sushi, especially after watching shows like "Shinya Shokudo" and "The Housekeeper," which made me crave these dishes even more. But the Japanese food in Geneva is hit or miss. I've tried eel rice from a few places, and it usually starts at around 40 CHF. I just don't think the taste is worth the price. Everything should have a good value for money, right? 💰 Yesterday, I stumbled upon a Japanese takeaway place near my home. It's a tiny shop, and honestly, I love these small, cozy places. They often have better food than the big, famous restaurants in the city center. 🏡 I tried their eel rice and pork cutlet rice. I haven't had the chance to visit Japan yet, so I don't know what authentic eel rice should taste like, but I can say this is the best I've had in Geneva. The eel is rich in fat, the meat is plump and fresh, and it's cooked to perfection. I could eat it every day without getting tired of it. The pork cutlet rice is also great—juicy inside with a crispy exterior, and the pork is full of flavor. 🍖 The prices are super reasonable: eel rice for 18 CHF and pork cutlet rice, which is part of their daily bento, for 15 CHF. This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to! 🌟 #Switzerland #Geneva #EelRice #GrilledEel #IzakayaDelights #JapaneseCuisine #LeicaDirect
