🇨🇭 Musée du Léman: A Hidden Gem by Lake Geneva

I highly recommend the Musée du Léman, a fantastic niche museum by the shores of Lake Geneva. Though small, every space is thoughtfully designed, making it both educational and fun! 🏞️ The first floor focuses on fishing and rescue operations on Lake Geneva, with a mini-aquarium showcasing unique fish species found in Swiss mountain lakes. As a fishing enthusiast, I was thrilled to see rare and large fish species exclusive to lakes like Lake Geneva. It was truly eye-opening! 🎣 The second floor features an ingeniously designed music exhibit where you can listen to French songs related to Lake Geneva in different spaces. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the design is very meticulous. Another section on this floor covers natural disasters that have occurred on Lake Geneva. 🎶 The third floor presents 36 intriguing questions about Lake Geneva in a "why?" style format. The questions are fascinating, such as "Can fish from Lake Geneva swim to the Seine River in Paris?" "How long does it take for a drop of water to flow from one end to the other?" "Are there jellyfish in Lake Geneva?" "Where do the swans on Lake Geneva come from?" The answers are engaging and easy to understand, making the museum highly educational. 🌊 Located in the charming town of Nyon, the museum is just a short train ride from Geneva's city center, and the lakeside scenery is stunning. Sometimes I see tourists complaining online that Geneva is boring, but there are many charming spots in Geneva that aren't as well-known as the Eiffel Tower. They just require an eye for beauty and a willingness to immerse yourself in the city. 🌟 #Switzerland
