🇨🇭 Where is Switzerland’s Capital? | Bern by Day & Night

🇨🇭 Switzerland’s capital really flies under the radar—I had no clue about the city of Bern until this trip! 😲 Bern by Day ☀️ Old Town (Altstadt): Lined with countless churches and historic buildings—fun fact, the entire old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site! 🕌 Walking on its cobblestone streets while listening to the chimes of the clock tower feels so peaceful and timeless. 🕰️ Rosengarten (Rose Garden): Bern’s famous viewpoint. Admittedly, visiting in winter means it’s just an open area on a hillside—but the bird’s-eye view of the entire city center is still fantastic! From here, you can see Bern’s red rooftops stretch out, which is super charming even without blooming roses. 🏔️ City Vibe: The city itself isn’t big at all—wandering around is easy. I even walked along the Aare River for a loop, and it was only a few kilometers! There’s also a Bear Pit (Bärengraben), though I didn’t get to visit. 🐻 Bern has quite a few museums too—if you have time, it’s perfect to stay a few days, slow down, and explore them at your own pace. 🖼️ Bern by Night 🌙 As the sun sets, the old town’s stone arcades light up with warm, soft glow. The clock tower looks even more magical against the night sky, and the quiet streets (no loud crowds!) make it feel like stepping into a cozy winter postcard. If you’re lucky, you might spot Christmas decorations twinkling in shop windows—adding extra cheer to the peaceful night. 🎄 #Christmas #Switzerland #WinterTravelCollection #Bern #WinterWarmthHunt #TheSceneryIVisitedThisYear
