đ¨đ Where is Switzerlandâs Capital? | Bern by Day & Night
đ¨đ Switzerlandâs capital really flies under the radarâI had no clue about the city of Bern until this trip! đ˛ Bern by Day âď¸ Old Town (Altstadt): Lined with countless churches and historic buildingsâfun fact, the entire old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site! đ Walking on its cobblestone streets while listening to the chimes of the clock tower feels so peaceful and timeless. đ°ď¸ Rosengarten (Rose Garden): Bernâs famous viewpoint. Admittedly, visiting in winter means itâs just an open area on a hillsideâbut the birdâs-eye view of the entire city center is still fantastic! From here, you can see Bernâs red rooftops stretch out, which is super charming even without blooming roses. đď¸ City Vibe: The city itself isnât big at allâwandering around is easy. I even walked along the Aare River for a loop, and it was only a few kilometers! Thereâs also a Bear Pit (Bärengraben), though I didnât get to visit. đť Bern has quite a few museums tooâif you have time, itâs perfect to stay a few days, slow down, and explore them at your own pace. đźď¸ Bern by Night đ As the sun sets, the old townâs stone arcades light up with warm, soft glow. The clock tower looks even more magical against the night sky, and the quiet streets (no loud crowds!) make it feel like stepping into a cozy winter postcard. If youâre lucky, you might spot Christmas decorations twinkling in shop windowsâadding extra cheer to the peaceful night. đ #Christmas #Switzerland #WinterTravelCollection #Bern #WinterWarmthHunt #TheSceneryIVisitedThisYear
