Zurich is expensive, but this place is worth it! 💰 The pre-meal bread is unlimited! The baguette has a texture and flavor reminiscent of the fried dough twists I grew up eating. It's served with olive oil from Tuscany. 🥖 🌟 Complimentary Dishes 1. Squid in potato and vegetable foam—salty and savory, I couldn't get enough of it. It was one of my favorites of the day! 2. Mini croissant with many layers, so flaky it crumbles. The bottom layer is hazelnut🌰 spread. 🌟 Starters 1. The squid was very tender and fresh. The creamy combination of cream and quail yolk, paired with the earthy flavor of truffle and garnished with a few pieces of cured meat, was delicious when mixed together. It was my second favorite of the day! 2. Beef tartare had a slight spiciness and no beefy aftertaste. It came with a mustard sauce and was meant to be eaten with bread. My friend said it was of good quality, but I personally don't like raw beef. 🌟 Main Course Beef with foie gras—what a perfect pairing! Eating foie gras alone can be greasy, and beef alone can be a bit bland, but together they balance each other perfectly. I ordered mine medium; I can't handle bloody beef... The beef was not overcooked, with no char on the surface and very juicy. The sides included potatoes and mushrooms. This was my third favorite of the day! 🦞 The lobster was baked with cheese. The waiter first showed it to you, then took it aside to remove the lobster meat, plated it, poured curry sauce over it, and garnished it with dill. I've never had curry-flavored lobster before. The lobster meat was firm, and the curry flavor was not overpowering, allowing the lobster's taste to shine through. The sides can be chosen from a selection of roasted vegetables or fries. 🌟 Dessert The dessert was the highlight! I was already full and initially didn't want to order dessert, thinking that I'd had black forest cake so many times before. But this one was incredibly creative—I've never had a black forest cake like this. The dark chocolate shell encased four layers, including one with real cherry pieces. The dark chocolate mousse was not cloying at all. The little apple on top was also special, with a chocolate shell filled with mousse and jam. It came with raspberry ice cream and cookie crumbs. This was my fourth favorite of the day! 🎂 Birthday Dessert A delightful surprise with a sparkler🪄! A pear-shaped vanilla mousse cake with a poached pear in the center. 🍹 Cocktail The "Perfect Lady" had a strange formaldehyde-like taste. I would recommend ordering it with caution. 💰 Including the tip, the average cost per person was 185 CHF. It was the most expensive meal I've ever had...
