Five-Day Tour of Three Eastern European Countries 🇨🇿🇭🇺🇦🇹 First Stop 📍 Prague Barcelona → Prague 🛬 2h 30min 🚏 Transport: After landing, follow the crowd to exit the airport. Buy a bus ticket and remember to validate it before boarding! 🚊 First, head to the train station to store luggage Self-service lockers are categorized by letters. We chose locker L—€8.62 for one day. You can open it using a code sent via SMS. Route: 1️⃣ Dancing House Walk to the opposite side to capture the full view of this architectural marvel. Don’t miss the large fly sculpture at the base—look closely as you pass by! 2️⃣ Hanging Man This sculpture appears in different spots around the city. Remember to look up while exploring! 3️⃣ Kafka Rotating Head It’s said the panels can rotate in sync or opposite directions, but unfortunately, we didn’t see it move. 4️⃣ Havelské Market A lively street filled with small shops and stalls selling souvenirs, fruits, snacks, and more. 5️⃣ Astronomical Clock Located in the Old Town Square, this is one of the oldest still-functioning astronomical clocks in the world. It performs every hour on the hour. Bought a four-gear clock souvenir for €5 at Dárky z Prahy. To find it, enter “Duplex Nightclub” in Google Maps—the shop is right next to it. 6️⃣ Municipal Library of Prague A beautifully designed library famous for its endless book tunnel. Be prepared for crowds—it’s a popular photo spot! 📚 7️⃣ Charles Bridge Arrive before sunset for breathtaking views. We enjoyed a violin performance on the bridge and touched the statue of St. John for good luck! 🍀 8️⃣ Prague Castle From the viewing platform, you can see the entire city of Prague—a dreamy, fairy-tale panorama of the Old Town! 9️⃣ Lennon Wall Visited at night and used flash for a unique photo effect. 📸 🍽️ Food Recommendations: V Kolkovne|Tried two dishes (enough for two people): Roasted Duck: Crispy and flavorful—a full half duck served with sauerkraut and bread (like steamed bun slices). 👍🏼 Pilsner Goulash: A Czech classic—beef stew with bread and fried vegetable patties (the sauce wasn’t my favorite). Trdelník (Chimney Cake) Stopped by a shop near the end of Charles Bridge. The ice cream was sweet, but the fruit balanced it well. The pastry was filled with aromatic cinnamon. ⚠️ Tips: Attire: 👟 Wear comfortable shoes—Prague’s cobblestone streets and walkable layout make it perfect for city walking. Currency: 💳 We paid by card and used euros without exchanging Czech crowns. Most shops accept euro bills without any issue! #TravelDiaries #PragueTravel #PragueGuide #PragueSquare #PragueFood
