My "budget-friendly" rule: Under 10€ (ideally), max 15€. 🇩🇪 German (Berlin) Classics 🌭 Currywurst @ Curry 36 Berlin’s iconic street food: grilled sausage + curry powder + ketchup. Add fries—under 6€! 🍔 Burgermeister Berlin-exclusive burgers (born in a former public toilet under Schlesisches Tor U-Bahn). 🔥 Cheeseburger (7.5€) or Limited Edition burgers (sometimes BOGO on UberEats!). 🍖 Eisbein (Pork Knuckle) @ Domke Nino Fleischerei My secret spot! Huge portions, nothing over 10€. Try: Eisbein (tender stewed pork knuckle) Blutwurst + Sauerkraut + Potatoes (aka "Die Tote Oma" 👵💀) 🛒 REWE Supermarket Hot Counter Jägerschnitzel (breaded pork) & Leberkäse (meatloaf) = <3€ breakfast (add bread + ketchup). 🇹🇷 Turkish Must-Eats 🍲 Kelle Paca (Lamb Head Soup) - 6€ Comes with bread, veggies, lemon & pickles. Squeeze lemon in—heavenly. The German student canteen (my official title). 🌯 Döner Kebab - 7€ Germany’s national dish (lol). Beef/chicken/veggie (falafel option!). Sauces: garlic, herb, spicy. 🌮 Dürüm @ Rüya My soul food. Thin-wrap chicken Döner + roasted potatoes/carrots/eggplant + lemon, mint & goat cheese (controversial but I LOVE IT). 🌏 Southeast Asian Flavors 🍜 Vietnamese @ Dong Xuan Center Berlin’s Little Hanoi—market, shops & cheap, huge-portioned restaurants (perfect for Chinese taste buds!). Must-try: Vietnamese coffee! 🍛 Thai Food (Kantstr. Area) Two spots: one big menu, the other small but unique flavors. 🏆 Honorable Mentions 🇷🇺 Russian Eats Intermarkt Stolitschniy: 6€ pork skewers outside the supermarket.
