🇩🇪 Bonn Food Review

Divan Restaurant Kölnstraße 13, 53111 Bonn — 🍖 Lammhaxensuppe (€6) The broth is deeply aromatic with lamb fat and garlic – rich, savory, and slightly salty. The meat is incredibly tender and falls off the bone. One sip and you’re hooked! 😍 Though it can get a bit heavy, so break off some bread 🫓, dip it in, add a sprinkle of chili flakes 🌶️, and maybe a squeeze of lemon 🍋 – perfection! 🐟 Gegrillter Wolfbarsch (€21) No overpowering spices here – just pure, natural flavor. The sea bass is delicate and moist, with a crispy, salty skin… though not all of it was perfectly crisp (some scales still on, sadly 😅). Still delicious if you enjoy simple grilled fish! 🍆 Ali Nazik mit Lammspieß (€19.5) Grilled lamb skewers served over smoky roasted eggplant purée. The meat is marinated to perfection – tangy, tender, and slightly charred. The eggplant underneath is unseasoned but juicy and oily in the best way. A bold and satisfying dish! 🔥 — Overall, everything was tasty and filling – no disappointments! But be warned: it’s RICH and can feel heavy 🫠 Thankfully, classic Turkish sides like flatbread, sauce, salad, and black tea are served to balance the meal. 🫖🥗 The service was excellent – they asked if we wanted the soup and main together or separately, checked on us regularly, and even offered toothpicks and wet wipes. Just had to wait a bit for the bill. 😅 💰 Around €25 per person… though honestly, just the €6 lamb soup with bread is enough to fill you up! #Germany #BonnFood #TurkishCuisine #Bonn
