🇩🇪 Castle Collecting Continues | Marienburg Castle near Hannover

Germany really has so many castles! 🤩 This time, I explored Marienburg Castle near Hannover. However, public transportation isn’t very convenient here — buses run infrequently, so make sure to take a picture of the bus schedule at the stop to avoid long waits! 📸🚌 Back in Hannover city, it’s super tourist-friendly! Right outside the main train station, you’ll find a red line with numbered markers guiding you through a fun self-guided tour that eventually leads back to the station. The only downside is that the red line might be a bit faded in some spots after all these years… but no worries, we always have maps! 😉🗺️✨ Another must-see beyond the red line is the stunning Herrenhäuser Gärten (Royal Gardens). Entry costs around €5 (or a bit more) — and hey, you’ve come all this way, so why not go in?
