🇩🇪 Düsseldorf Day Trip Guide

✈️ Düsseldorf Airport → City Center Take S11 from the lower level of the terminal or the Skytrain (4 stops: Terminal C → Terminal A/B → Parking → Airport Station). From there, hop on a train to Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main station). The journey should take about 10 minutes… but expect surprises! 🚧 👀 Heads up: July-August is track maintenance season in Germany/Austria. During my visit, all trains from the airport to the main station were cancelled without any announcements or screen updates – classic Deutsche Bahn! 😅 I had to ask at the info desk to find out. The supposed 10-minute trip took almost an hour. 🫠 🍜 Lunch in Little Tokyo (Japan Street) Just a short walk from the main station! Even at noon, many places had long lines. Based on Xiaohongshu recommendations, I tried Zero Banchi (no wait!). Lunch set: €17 – generous portion, decent taste, friendly service 🍱 Dinner: Tempura ramen (see pic 👉) – broth was a bit salty and tasted instant. The veggie ramen at lunch was better! 🎨 Art at K20 Went to see the Chagall exhibition – many works on loan from Centre Pompidou in Paris! 🖼️ Loved his pieces from the 1920s Paris period – so vibrant and dreamy! 🌈 🍻 Old Town (Altstadt) Packed with pubs and restaurants – must be buzzing on weekend nights! 🎉 🌃 Rhine Tower (Rheinturm) Entry: €12.50 per person. There’s a restaurant and bar at the top. The night view is okay… not a must-see though. 🗼 #GermanyTravel l#Düsseldorf #TravelTips #DeutscheBahnAdventures 🇩🇪✨
