This pastry shop 🍮 is absolutely a hidden gem in Bamberg! While searching for a lunch spot, I magically discovered that the #1 ranked restaurant on Tripadvisor here is actually a dessert place – so of course I had to check it out in the afternoon! The interior is super chill – the kind of place where you just want to sit all day and never leave. 😌☕ Most importantly, the cakes are incredibly delicious! My friend and I were both blown away. 🧀 The cheesecake was smooth and silky, not overly rich at all. 🍎 The apple cake had a thick layer of cream on top, yet it tasted surprisingly refreshing. The balance between the cream and apple was perfect – the apples weren’t tart or overly sweet like in many pies, and they even had a slight crispness to them.
