Perched high on the Drachenfels cliff in Königswinter near Bonn, Schloss Drachenburg is a stunning 19th-century castle that looks straight out of a fairy tale 🏰✨. You can reach the castle in several ways: 🚡 By cable car (most relaxing and scenic!) 🛣️ Via the paved road next to the cable car station 🌲 Or through the peaceful forest trail – a lovely 30-minute hike from the base up to the castle, and another 15 minutes from the castle to the very top of Drachenfels for epic views! ⚠️ A helpful tip: The North Tower (Nordturm) has a narrow spiral staircase with limited capacity – only 25 people at a time.
