Accompanied Daley to a conference in Bremen, Germany – and turned it into a peaceful, off-the-beaten-track getaway! 🇩🇪💼🧳 Bremen is such a quiet little city – you can really feel life slow down here. There are parks, lakes, and riverside trails everywhere – perfect for aimless wandering 🍃🚶‍♀️🌊. Since it’s not a big tourist hub, many locals don’t speak much English – ordering and asking for directions often turned into a game of charades 😅🫣. Most attractions and lively spots are centered around the Town Hall, where you’ll find markets selling flowers 🌸, street food 🍢, crafts 🎁… full of local charm! Also stumbled upon a beautiful old-school café – Café Knigge 1889 ☕️ Their strawberry cream roll was light and not too sweet – paired perfectly with a cappuccino. Spent the whole afternoon there just soaking it all in 🍰💖. And I found what seems to be a local specialty: chocolate-covered mint candies 🍬🍫 – retro packaging and a cool, refreshing taste! 📍 Exploring lesser-known cities like this brings such unique joy – quiet, comfortable, and crowd-free.
