🇩🇪 Frankfurt → Heidelberg 🏰

style trip to Germany’s most beautiful castle — Heidelberg! We drove from Frankfurt with friends, and it took about 1.5 hours 🚗. You can also take the train: from the airport, ride the subway to the main station (Hauptbahnhof), then buy a ticket to Heidelberg. The whole journey takes a little over 2 hours if everything goes smoothly. Our first stop in Heidelberg was the Old Bridge (Karl-Theodor-Brücke) 🌉. This historic bridge offers super picturesque views and is incredibly photogenic 📸! Next, we headed to the Philosophers' Way 🚶‍♂️🌿 – it involves some hiking uphill, but it’s totally worth it for the stunning panoramic view of Heidelberg from halfway up! Perfect for hiking lovers. After descending, we relaxed at Bismarck Square ☕, enjoying a leisurely lunch and coffee. There’s a spot near the square that serves amazing pork knuckle and beer — a must-try classic German combo! 🍖🍺 Our final stop was Heidelberg Castle. You can take a cable car 🚠 or drive up. The castle is rich with well-preserved traces of wartime history. Exploring it while listening to stories about German history and culture made the experience even more fascinating! Heidelberg is truly a place where philosophers left their hearts 💔… I’ll definitely be back next time I get the chance. #Heidelberg #GermanyTravel #CastleLovers #TravelEurope #TravelTips ✈️❤️
