🇩🇪 Hannover | The Red Thread Tour 🧵✨
Hannover is a clean and beautiful city where the charming old town is filled with picturesque half-timbered houses 🏠. Perfect as a stopover or a one-day trip! We didn’t plan much in advance. After getting off the train, we headed to the tourist information center near the station, bought a guidebook, and started following the famous Red Thread route 🚶♀️🔴. Here are some highlights from the trail: 1⃣️ Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) 🏛️ 2⃣️ Archer Sculpture 🏹 3⃣️ Opernplatz 🎭 4⃣️ Ernst-Grote-Haus 🏘️ 5⃣️ Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) 🧱 6⃣️ Die Leinewelle (Leine Wave) 🌊 7⃣️ Ältestes Fachwerkhaus (Oldest Half-Timbered House) 📜 8️⃣️ Heart-Shaped Traffic Light ❤️🚦 🍜 Food Recommendations: 1. Chois 🍗 Soy Sauce & Sweet Spicy Double-Flavored Fried Chicken: Crispy, generously sized pieces — both flavors were delicious! Beef Bibimbap: Served in a sizzling stone pot with a whole bottle of spicy sauce — you can adjust to your taste. Kimchi Pancake: Crispy on the outside, but the kimchi flavor was mild. Just okay. 2. MamaLu Chinesisch und Koreanisches Street Food 🥢 Red Oil Wontons: Fragrant chili oil, tasty but the portion was a bit small. Not enough for one person alone. Triple Mixed Noodles: The braised meat was especially flavorful! Chinese Pancake: Tasted just like back home — so authentic! 🇨🇳 A lovely city for a relaxed stroll and some tasty Asian bites. Perfect for a day of exploring and eating! #Germany #TravelGermany #Hannover #RedThread #Foodie #StreetFood #ExploreEurope
