🇩🇪 Heidelberg | So Romantic It Doesn’t Feel Like Germany 💕

This city truly surprised me—so cozy and unexpectedly soul-stirring~✨ I thought it would be cloudy all day, with little hope for a sunset… but then the sky cleared miraculously in the afternoon! Sunlight spilled over the houses across the river, making everything glow warmly and sparkle ✨ 🌟 Attractions (I only visited a few spots due to a train delay 🥹 but each was stunning!): 1️⃣ Philosophenweg (Philosophers' Way) Start climbing 30-40 minutes before sunset. The path is a bit steep and flanked by high walls, which keeps you focused 🧗‍♀️. There are several viewpoints along the way — each step upward reveals changing light and shadow, so dreamy 😍! Stop around the rainbow bench 🌈 for an unobstructed view. Watch the lights flicker on slowly across the city as daylight fades… magical by day and night! 💯 Highly recommend! 2️⃣ Around the Old Bridge + Marktplatz A fairytale-like old town full of colorful buildings — so charming and fun to wander through 🏘️💫 🌟 Food: 1️⃣ 📍 Cocodec Ordered half-half fried chicken: soy sauce + snow cheese flavor 🍗. Huge portion, super crispy — snow cheese was especially delicious! Would order again (but fair warning: service is slow 🐢…) 2️⃣ 📍 Yangda Chinese Restaurant Their spicy pepper with pork intestines is ABSOLUTELY delicious!! Highly recommend 🌶️🔥 #Germany #Heidelberg #HiddenGems
