🇩🇪 I Found the Prettiest Town Near Stuttgart 😆

It’s Marbach—just a 20-minute ride from Stuttgart on the S-Bahn! I caught a glimpse of its beauty from the train while crossing a bridge, so I picked a sunny day to visit it! ☀️ To my surprise, it’s not just beautiful—it’s also rich in culture and history 👍🤩 1. Birthplace of Friedrich Schiller, Germany’s Renowned Writer 📖 Schillers Geburtshaus (Schiller’s Birthplace) Museum of Modern Literature Schiller-Nationalmuseum (Schiller National Museum) (⚠️ Temporarily closed) A must-visit sacred spot for literature lovers 🤓 2. Flower-Covered Old Town (Altstadt) Every household’s courtyard is beautiful enough to compete in a "best garden" contest 💅! Marbach is also a famous white wine region 🥂, so nearly every house is covered with grapevines 🍇. It’s a sea of flowers—wandering through here is a total feast for the eyes 😍 3. Store: Buchhandlung Taube The slogan in Photo 4 says it all: "Marbach is the most beautiful place near Stuttgart!" I’ve been here, and I can confirm it’s true 🫡 4. Handmade Ceramic Shop: Susanne Maurer Töpferei The German owner’s ceramic works are incredibly gentle. They’re not complicated, but I was deeply charmed by the warmth of her handcrafted pieces 💓 5. Old Town Walls: Fußweg auf der Stadtmauer Take a walk along the town’s three-sided old city walls—feel over 700 years of historical heritage and enjoy the scenery both inside and outside the walls 🧱 6. "Old Money" Style Shoe Shop: David Oehler It’s actually a direct store of a shoe factory. The shoes here are so elegant and gentlemanly 👞, with top-notch craftsmanship 👍 7. Windy Riverside: Neckar Fussgängerbrücke This small iron footbridge offers views of the old town, but it’s not as high as the bridge the S-Bahn crosses. Pro tip: Start taking photos from the S-Bahn on your way here! 📷 By the river, there are cafés and a kayak club—perfect for relaxing with a coffee ☕ or staying active with kayaking 🚣 Pick a sunny day to visit—It’s relaxing and visually delightful 😍 #GermanyTravel #Germany #Stuttgart #GermanLife #49EuroMonthlyTicket #StuttgartLife #Marbach #SchillersBirthplace #Germany49EuroTicket #StuttgartSurroundings #StuttgartDayTrips #GermanTowns #EuropeanTravel #FriedrichSchiller
