🇩🇪 Living the Life of My Dreams

I know the combination of this IP and this conclusion is pretty rare on the internet. But… maybe it’s just a perfect fit for me 🫡. I absolutely love the sunset glow in the evening. When I walked out of the library, I was stunned by the sky’s colors reflected on the building’s windows 🌇. Having forgotten to bring cash, I accidentally walked into a café near the school that’s cash-only and doesn’t offer takeaway cups. Unexpectedly, the barista let me take a free cup of fragrant hot coffee in a ceramic mug! This little kindness warmed my heart all day long ☕️. Hamburg’s hamburgers are actually delicious! Though I’ll never order the Honey & Peanuts Mayo again 🤦‍♀️—ketchup and BBQ sauce are forever the best. On October 31st (Reformationstag), 47 art galleries and museums across the city offered free entry! I rushed to visit the Hamburg Kunsthalle (Hamburg Art Gallery)—my top pick—and saved €17 right away. I only got through the second floor in one afternoon; there are so many treasures, it was a feast for the eyes! I’ll definitely go back again 🎨. P.S. The photo shows a museum guide explaining Manet’s painting to kids; Photo 8 is Über dem Ofen by Hans Purrmann, a representative artist of the 19th-century Hamburg School—it’s such a cute piece 👶! I went for tacos with friends 😋. Turns out, authentic tacos don’t have corn chips inside, and they’re super big! My Mexican friend invited me to a Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) fiesta. The tacos my friends made were the best I’ve ever had in my life—they had hummus, spicy tomato soup, avocado, cheese, roasted eggplant, and vegetarian chicken! We also baked el pan de los muertos (Day of the Dead bread) together, which was amazing. At night, we sat around the living room—on the floor and sofas—listening to Spanish songs, chatting, drinking hot cocoa, and drawing. The vibe was absolutely perfect 🥹🫶. As someone who studies Spanish, I can now check another wish off my life list! When I open the curtains in the morning, all I want to shout is: “Let the sun soak me up!” ☀️ #GermanLife #Germany #StudyingInGermany
