🇩🇪 Munich & Füssen Town 📸
🚗 Getting from Munich to Füssen You can take a train or the Felix Bus from central Munich. We chose the Felix Bus—it’s super convenient! Download the Felix Bus app and book tickets in advance (only one fixed departure per day 📅). 🏰 How to Shoot Neuschwanstein Castle (Must Go to Marienbrücke!) To get the iconic castle view, you need to reach Marienbrücke (Mary’s Bridge). Here are 3 ways to get there: Horse-drawn carriage: Not recommended—horses may poop/ fart anytime 😂 (messy and smelly!). Shuttle bus: €5 per person for a round trip, €3.5 for one way. It takes just a few minutes 🚌. Hiking: The path is very steep—you’ll be exhausted by the time you reach the top 🥵 (save your energy for photos!). ⚠️ Marienbrücke Warning The wooden bridge is scary for two reasons: It has a "200 people max" sign, but it’s always packed with tourists 🧍🧍♀️. If you have a fear of heights, this is a no-go! Don’t walk forward after taking photos—the path ahead is an unmarked trail; you can only go back ⬅️. 🍦 Post-Hike Treat On your way down, there are stalls selling ice cream and Snowballs—don’t miss them! Perfect for cooling down 🍧. 🏞️ Alpsee (Alpine Lake) On a sunny day, it’s the ideal spot to relax and zone out ☀️. You can also rent a boat, but no life jackets are provided. When we went, only one boat was on the lake. I can’t swim, so I skipped it—worried no one would rescue me if something happened 🚤. 🌳 English Garden (Englischer Garten, Munich) I absolutely loved this park—it’s so quiet with few people 🤫. Perfect for a peaceful stroll. 📍 Early-Morning Spots in Munich 8 AM at Marienplatz (way fewer crowds than later!) Around Hofbräuhaus (quiet before the daytime rush 🍻) #Munich #MunichTravel #Füssen #NeuschwansteinCastle #BMW Museum #GermanyMunichFüssen
