🇩🇪 Munich 3-Day Itinerary – Perfect for Lazy "Special Forces" Travel

Day 1: Take a morning train from Berlin to Munich. Most attractions are within walking distance once you arrive! 👣 Must-visit: Munich Residenz – set aside 4 hours. The museum and treasury each cost €10. You’ll walk so much you might question your life choices 😂. The palace garden is nearby – worth a stroll if you’re interested. Also check out the Town Hall and two iconic churches ⛪. Climbing the tower (€5) offers great views. Don’t miss the Hofbräuhaus – their pork knuckle and beer are delicious 🍖🍺. Meal cost: ~€35. Day 2: Take a train to Füssen to visit Neuschwanstein Castle 🏰. Note: due to construction, you’ll need to transfer to a DB bus midway. Two long buses run for each trip – rush to get a seat! From Füssen station, take a local bus to the castle (round trip €5). Nearby Alpsee Lake is perfect for boating 🚣 or hiking 🥾. You can reach the castle by horse carriage 🐎, bus, or walking – but save your energy if you plan to hike! Pro tip: Get a Bayern Ticket for €33 on the DB app – it covers all regional transport. Day 3: Head to Königssee! Take a train from Munich HBF to Berchtesgaden (Bayern Ticket valid). Sadly, I missed my stop and ended up in Salzburg… 😅 From Salzburg station, take Bus 840 (near McDonald’s) to Königssee. Single trip usually costs €7, but I showed my DB ticket and got on for free – saved €7! 🎉 Copy this itinerary for a fun, efficient trip! 🚀 #MunichTravel #GermanyItinerary #Neuschwanstein #Königssee #TravelHacks #BayernTicket
