Our journey began with a 3.5-hour drive from Rothenburg to Munich, the capital of Bavaria—and what a magical ride it was! 🚗 BMW Welt & Museum Our first stop was BMW Welt, where we marveled at everything from classic beauties to futuristic concept cars. (Sorry, 3GT—you didn’t make the cut. 😅) The adjacent BMW Museum took us through the brand’s evolution—from airplane engines to iconic cars. A must for gearheads! 🏰 Munich Residenz Rainy days called for indoor adventures! The opulent Munich Residenz transported us to royal times with its Baroque splendor. Pro tip: Get the combo ticket (Residenz + Treasury) to see the crown jewels—we learned this the hard way! 👑 ⚽ Allianz Arena As temporary Bayern fans, we toured the stadium (€25 for Arena Tour + Museum). Walking through the player tunnel, locker rooms, and even posing with Harry Kane’s jersey was next-level cool. Mia san mia! 🍽️ Food & Lodging 🏨 Courtyard by Marriott Munich City Center: Decent stay, omelette breakfast win! 🍳 🍖 Zum Franziskaner: Hearty pork knuckle & sausages (dark beer was too wild for me—stick to weißbier!). 🌶️ Yang Guo Fu Malatang: A spicy surprise in Munich!
