🇩🇪 Munich Definitely Lives Up to Being Germany’s Top Tourist Destion

Last week, I took advantage of a long weekend and finally made it to Munich. This famous German city absolutely lives up to its reputation—there’s so much to see and explore! 👏 🏰 Munich Residenz & Treasury 👑 The most breathtaking part of my trip was undoubtedly the Munich Residenz and its Treasury. This former royal palace is extravagantly decorated—every corner is filled with opulence. The treasures in the Treasury, in particular, radiate a deep sense of history and artistic brilliance. Tickets need to be purchased on-site, and I highly recommend the combo ticket which includes an audio guide. The entire tour took around 2-3 hours—totally worth it! ⛪ Small but Beautiful Churches I also made sure to visit a few smaller yet stunning churches, like St. Peter’s Church and Asamkirche. Each has its own unique architectural style and atmosphere—compact yet richly detailed, filled with artistry and a sense of grandeur. 🍽️ Since I often eat German food at my university cafeteria, I skipped the popular restaurants this time. Instead, I randomly picked a pizzeria on the street—and it was delicious! 😋 Definitely coming back again. #TravelAndEatDiary #GermanyTravel #Munich #StudyInGermany #PhDlife #RecordOfRomanticLife #ViewsOnTheRoad #EuropeTravel #StudyAbroad #LifeInGermany
