🇩🇪 Munich Hiking | Alpine Hidden Gems — Lakes Edition (Final Part2)

The previous posts introduced some beginner-friendly lakes 🏞️. This one shares a few more — though not all the lakes I’ve visited. More updates to come, stay tuned! 👣 📍 Königssee | Best from May to October ⏱ Hike Duration: 2-3 hours (30 mins at the Onion Church, rest at Obersee & waterfall) ⭐ Difficulty: Intermediate — wear hiking boots for Obersee! 🚞 Transport: From Munich Hbf (Platform 12), take RE5 → Freilassing → S4 → Berchtesgaden Hbf → Bus 840 to Königssee. Travel time: 2h 52min 💡 Tip: Boat ticket required! Round trip to Salet: €29 (opens Apr 20), to Onion Church: €22.8 (already open). Buy online/offline. Start early for a day return! 📍 Hintersee | Beautiful all year ⏱ Hike Duration: Loop — 40 mins ⭐ Difficulty: Easy 🚌 Transport: Same as Königssee, but take Bus 846 from the station. Travel: 3h 47min. Bus stops right by the lake. 📍 Seealpsee ⏱ Hike Duration: 50 mins from cable car station to lake (downhill), 20 mins to ridge trail start P13 ⭐ Difficulty: Easy 🚞 Transport: From Munich Hbf (Platform 29), take RE76 to Oberstdorf (2h 27min) → Bus 9 or 15-min walk to Nebelhornbahn cable car → €35 one-way to Hofratsblick. Combine with next lakes — see previous posts! 📍 Koblatsee ⏱ Hike Duration: 1h 20min ⭐ Difficulty: Medium 🚞 Transport: Same as above ⚠️ Note: Trail starts at cable station. Rocky path — hiking boots essential! 📍 Engeratsgundsee | Changes color with the season 🌈 ⏱ Hike Duration: 50 mins from previous lake ⭐ Difficulty: Medium 🚞 Transport: Same as above. Stay overnight in a mountain hut — call to book!
